On 14 June Tatarstan State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev, who is also the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Regional Revival Fund, went on a working trip to Bolgar and held a visiting meeting on the construction site of an out of the town hotel in the Settlement of Privolzhskiy in Spassk region of the republic.
On 14 June at their meeting held with participation of the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Russia Botirjon Asadov, the Representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry in Kazan Radik Vakhitov and other officials in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Uzbekistan Deputy Foreign Minister Erkin Khamraev discussed steps in strengthening cooperation of Tatarstan and Uzbekistan within the framework of Russia-Uzbekistan relations.
On 14 June at their meeting held with participation of the President of Tatarstan Academy of Sciences Rifkat Minnikhanov, the Rector of Kazan Federal Universtiy Lenar Safin and the Minister of Education and Science of the republic Ilsur Khadiullin in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Rector of the Financial University under the Russian Government Stanislav Prokofyev discussed issues of further cooperation in the spheres of science and education.
On June 13, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Russian Federation Davlatshoh Gulmahmadzoda Qurbonali discussed the issues of futher strengthening cooperation and establishing new business ties under the Russian-Tajikistan relations.
On 13 June at their meeting in the Government House of the republic the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Chairman of the Board of the Avtodor State Company Vyacheslav Petushenko discussed issues of further cooperation in the development of road network at the regional, inter-regional and federal levels.
The parties also discussed implementation of promising regional projects in road economy.
Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Rustam Nigmatullin, the Minister of Transport and Road Economy of the republic Farit Khanifov and other officials also took part in the meeting.
On 12 June the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the State Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev, the Aid to the Russian President Aleksey Dyumin, the Counselor of the Russian President Igor Levitin and the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin took part in a solemn ceremony of opening the BRICS Sports Games which for the first time in the history are held in Russia.
On 12 June at their meeting at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Sports Mikhail Degtyarev discussed working issues related to the BRICS Games and issues of the development of sports in the republic.
The BRICS Games will be held on 12-23 June at 17 sports facilities in Kazan and Moscow with participation of 4 000 athletes from 90 countries.
On 12 June at their meeting at the Kazan Kremlin, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Aleksandr Babakov discussed issues of interaction in such spheres as the development of energetics and support of SMEs.
The parties also touched upon such topics and the development of foreign economic cooperation with the aim of supporting enterprises and production under the conditions of sanctions.
On 12 June at their meeting at the Kazan Kremlin, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Minister of Sports of Chechnya Akhmat Kadyrov discussed cooperation between the republics in sports, holding various level sports events and implementation of joint projects.
On June 12, at the solemn ceremony in the Kazan Kremlin on the occasion of Russia Day with participation of the Aide to Russian President Aleksey Dyumin and Adviser to the Russian President Igor Levitin, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov handed in the state awards to 38 representatives of a wide variety of industries and spheres of activity: industry, energy, transport, agriculture, science and education, healthcare, culture, sports, as well as members of the special military operation, philanthropists, representatives of state and public authorities and local government.
