On 7 June on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremony of signing an agreement with the Russian Table Tennis Federation on the development of table tennis in the republic. 

On 6 June at their meeting on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Director General of Wildberries Tatyana Bakalchuk discussed the development of international cooperation. The support of the republic makes it possible to enter external platforms, which means that the market is expanding also for manufacturers of the republic who sell their goods in it.

On 7 June Rustam Minnikhanov was present at a ceremony of signing  agreements on strategic partnership between the Ak Bars Holding Company and St Petersburg Polytechnic University of Peter the Great and the Maritime Complex Systems Company. 

On 7 June, speaking at his meeting with Tajikistan First Deputy Prime Minister Hokim Kholiqzoda on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said: “We highly appreciate cooperation between our republics within the framework of Russia-Tajikistan relations.” 

On 7 June, speaking at his meeting with Uzbekistan Minister of Energy Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that Presidents of Russia and Uzbekistan attach the closest attention to cooperation of regions of two countries, and the Council of Regions held recently in Tashkent with participation of Vladimir Putin and Shavkat Mirziyoyev is the proof of it. 

On June 6, speaking at his meeting with the Head (Bashkan) of Gagauzia Evgeniya Gutsul on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan and Gagauzia have common historical and cultural roots. Unfortunately, the anti-Russian position of the current leadership of Moldova currently hinders the development of full-fledged cooperation. At the same time, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized the importance of continuing contacts.

On 6 June at their meeting on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the President of the Federation of Triathlon of Russia Kseniya Shoygu discussed the forthcoming events to be held in the republic, in particular the Russia Championship in Triathlon to be held in Almetyevsk on 15-16 June of the current year. 

On 6 June at their meeting on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Head of the Federal Agency for Maritime and River Transport Andrey Tarasenko, who was appointed to this position in March this year, discussed development of speed passengers transportation by water transport in the republic and touched upon the topic of the necessity of development of a comprehensive programme on development of internal water ways in the country, which will connect regions. 

On 6 June, speaking at his meeting with the Director General of the Ntech Lab Company Aleksey Palamarchuk on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that today the republic is one of the leaders in the IT sphere with about three thousand companies working in it. He expressed his interest in implementation of the most advanced and innovational solutions in this sphere.

On 5 June at their meeting on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Uzbekistan Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjaev discussed joint projects being implemented in Bukhara and Navoi regions of Uzbekistan.
