Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in the 16th session of the State Council of Tatarstan

On 27 November the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the 16th session of the State Council of the republic the agenda of which included 10 issues including 5 regional and 4 federal draft laws.

After having considered the draft law on the budget of Tatarstan for 2026 and the planned period of 2027 and 2028, the members of the council passed it in the second and third reading, with the 2026 budget revenues forecast to amount to 552.2bn rubles, those in 2027 – 578.9bn and in 2028 – 620.9bn rubles. The budget expenses are to make more than 566bn, 595.8bn and 639.6bn rubles accordingly.

The Council also approved in the second and third readings a draft law on the budget of the Territorial Fund for Compulsory Medical Insurance of the republic for three years with the planned revenues amounting to 101.4bn rubles in 2026, 109.4bn in 2027 and 117.4bn in 2028.

At its session the State Council also approved the candidacies of five new justices of the peace presented by the Chairman of Tatarstan Supreme Court Azat Gilmutdinov.
