Rustam Minnikhanov: Employment of veterans of the special military operation is the most important issue

On 22 November, speaking at a regional meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that employment of veterans of the special military operation (SMO) is the most important issue.

He reminded about the staff programme “Batyrlar. Heroes of Tatarstan” being implemented for veterans and participants of the SMO and informed that currently a group of 46 people is passing internship in the power bodies, each of them having an assigned mentor from ministers and heads of administrations.

”The results of this programme should be real staff solutions and I have set such tasks for the mentors. I would like to point out that during the September elections, 15 participants of the Batyrlar program have already been elected as municipal deputies,” the Rais of the republic said.

He emphasized that mentors have an important role in this work while enterprises must also create conditions for the employment of soldiers who returned from the SMO. “Many of SMO veterans used to work in industry and they must find themselves and treated with attention. They should be employed, earn money and their families must not be in need. They must be in demand in society - that is the main task,” Rustam Minnikhanov added.
