On March 16, under the work on organizing the Russian Presidential elections, which are held on March 15-17, Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Roman Shaykhutdinov inspected polling station commissions of subordinate Verkhneuslonsky region of the republic.

On 16 March, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov via video conference with all regions of the republic with the regional prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin taking part in it, the Head of the Fund “The Institute of Development of Tatarstan Cities” Nailya Zinnatullia informed that a number of municipalities have not passed the resulting schedules of work on yard to be done by the “Our Yard” programme in the current year.

On March 16, Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Roman Shaykhutdinov together with a member of the Supervisory Board of the Innopolis Special Ecomonic Zone Nikolay Nikiforov and the Mayor of Innopolis Ruslan Shagaleev attended the Open Day at the Innopolis School. This annual event, which takes place in the IT city for future students of the educational institution and their parents.

On 15 March Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov voted at Russian Presidential elections at a polling station located at the Artspace Site in Innopolis, which is the station for voting of IT-specialists and their families who have come to work at the city from all over Russia.

On 15 March the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the regional Minister on Youth Affairs Rinat Sadykov had a meeting with participants of a regional programme of the World Youth Festival held in the Rameev IT Park in Kazan.

On March 15, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov together with his wife came to the polling station № 42 on Karl Marks street, 10 and voted in the Russian presidential elections.

On March 15, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank Alexander Vedyakhin introduced new Chairman of the Volgo-Vyatsky Bank of Sberbank and the branch manager of the «Bank of Tatarstan» to the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

The personnel changes were carried out under the regular career moves among the heads of regional banks and are aimed at implementing plans for the development of Sber's business.

On 14 March, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Cyril, Metropolitan of Kazan and Tatarstan, the Head of the Office of the Rais of the Republic Asgat Safarov, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin, the Chairman of the regional Committee on Protection of Cultural Sites Ivan Guschin and the First Deputy Chairman of the Kazan Municipality Denis Kalinkin, looked round the Kazan Virgin Monastery and got acquainted with the state of some facilities located here. In particular, Rustam Minnikhanov was shown the building of the Nikola of Tula Church and the Father Superior’s house, the sisterhood house and the church school and told about the history of their reconstruction.
