Rustam Minnikhanov opens Tatarstan Oil and Gas Forum-24

On 26 August, speaking at a ceremonial opening of the Tatarstan Oil and Gas Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center on 26-28 August, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that today it is especially important to use scientific and technological potential efficiently and to ensure sustainable economic growth of the republic.

“We have established a good tradition of holding a large international industrial forum. This year the event is dedicated to the Year of Scientific and Technological Development of Tatarstan,” he said.

“I am sure that forum will become a remarkable platform for continuing mutually beneficial cooperation, broadening business contacts and discussing ways for overcoming consequences of geopolitical changes in the world economy,” the Rais of the republic concluded and added that he hopes natural resources will open broad opportunities for the development of the republic and the growth of wellbeing of its residents.

In his speech Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Mikhail Yurin said that the Forum has become a unique platform for exchanging experience and discussing important problems and prospects of the branch development.
