Rais of Tatarstan and Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan discuss implementation of joint projects

On 26 August, speaking at his meeting with the Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan Jurabek Mirzamahmudov on the sidelines of the Tatarstan Oil and Gas Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov thanked his guest for taking part in the Forum and the attention attached to the development of cooperation with Tatarstan. 

He stated that the amounts of mutual trade turnover are growing and informed that according to the results of the last year the Tatarstan-Uzbekistan trade turnover made 370m US dollars showing the 27 per cent growth. “It is necessary to increase amounts and the range of mutual deliveries and services. We have everything needed for that,” Rustam Minnikhanov said

He also mentioned leading Tatarstan companies working in Chirchik and Jizzakh chemical-industrial parks and the work being done for establishment of industrial parks at special economic zones in Navoi and Bukhara region. “This is a good contribution into strengthening of partnership between our countries,” Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized. The participants of the meeting also discussed business issues of the implementation of joint projects.
