On 16 June speaking at a presentation of the National investments climate ranking of Russian entities made by the Director General of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives Svetlana Chupsheva at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov named three important spheres which help the region to hold the bar high in the ranking. 

On 16 June the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a presentation of the National investments climate ranking ofRussian entities, where the Director General of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives Svetlana Chupsheva, who made the presentation at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, informed that Tatarstan ranks second after Moscow in this ranking.

 

On 16 June at his meeting with the Minister of Economy of the UAE Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov informed that at its level Tatarstan actively facilitates strengthening of Russia-Emirates relations, and the trade turnover between the United Arab Emirates and Tatarstan is growing, having reached 71m dollars in 2022.

 

On 16 June at their meeting on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Russian figure skater and Olympic champion Alina Zagitova discussed a project of opening Zagitova’s  figure skating school for talented children in Tatarstan.

On 15 June at his meeting with the Uzbekistan Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjayev on the sidelines of the SPIEF-23 the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said: “I would like to express you appreciation for special attention attached to development of our interaction aimed at strengthening relations between Uzbekistan and Russia.” 

On June 15, on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Minister of Trade and Industry of Egypt Ahmed Samir.

On June 15, on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Chairman of the Board of the Bank Nikolay Katorzhnov signed an agreement on cooperation between Tatarstan and Moscow Credit Bank.

On June 15, speaking at a meeting with Chairman of the Board of the Bank “Russia” Mikhail Klishin held on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that the regional network established by the bank allows to provide a wide range of financial services. Today there is one branch in the republic. “I am sure that further development of the bank’s network will allow you to strengthen positions. The bank is actively working with a number of industrial enterprises of the republic», Minnikhanov said.

On June 15, at their meeting on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Head of the Republic of Karelia Artur Parfenchikov disscussed issues of strengthening interregional cooperation. They noted that the volume of mutual trade is about 1.5 billion roubles. Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that it is important to work out new areas of cooperation in order not to reduce the momentum. The cooperation between Tatarstan and Karelia is based on the agreement signed in 2014. Today Tatarstan supplies trucks and cars, buses, diesel fuel, food, medical equipment, medicines, tires to Karelia. In turn Karelia brings building materials and paper products.

On June 15, at their meeting on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, CEO of «R1» Company Dmitry Reutt and Founder of the Group of Companies «BROZEX» Vyacheslav Brozovsky discussed the implementation of logistics project on the territory of the Tura 2.0 industrial park (Zelenodolsk region of Tatarstan).
