On 30 August, speaking at his meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Zambia to Russia Shadreck Luwita, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov stated that the role of Africa in the world system and international relations continues to grow. “For Russia Africa is an important foreign political and economic partner, cooperation with whom demands more active development,” he said.

On August 30, at their meeting with Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation Dauren Abayev, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov conveyed congratulations to the leadership of Kazakhstan and  residents of the republic on the Constitution Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is celebrated on August 30.

On August 30, speaking at a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to the Russian Federation Sheikh Ahmed bin Nasser bin Jasim Al Thani held at the Kazan Equestrian Complex, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said relations between Russia and Qatar are developing steadily.

On 30 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the State Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev and the Head of the Russian Equestrian Federation Marina Sechina attended competitions for the Tatarstan Rais Cup dedicated to the Day of the Republic. 

On 30 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, the regional Minister of Education and Science Ilsur Khadiullin and the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin walked round a new public space-the park by the “Bright Valley” residential complex on the right bank of the Noksa River in the Soviet District of Kazan.

On 30 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the regional Minister of Youth Affairs Rinat Sadykov attended the VI festival of modern Tatar culture “DertFest” organized in the Kazan Kremlin.

On 30 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the renovated Savior’s Tower of the Kazan Kremlin, which now has a museum opened after its overhaul.

The museum is dedicated to fortification of the fortress and the Savior’s Tower in different periods of time and tells its history starting from the Volga Bulgaria till present. 

In his address on the occasion of the Day of the Republic the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated all residents of the republic with the holiday and said: “This public holiday unites us in our love to Motherland, personifies successes of residents of the republic, inspires for good deeds and is a bright manifestation of consolidation of citizens.”

On 29 August at a ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition for municipalities traditionally held on the eve of celebrations of the Day of the Republic at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov handed in car keys to winners of the competition.

On August 29, on the eve of the games of the Continental Hockey League - Russian Championship in ice hockey among men’s teams of the season 2023/2024, the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the management, players and coaching staff of the Ak Bars hockey club.
