On 15 February Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who is on a working trip to Moscow, visited PJSC Tupolev where he, as the Chairman of the Board of directors of this company, took part in a meeting on further development of the aircraft building branch with participation of representatives of administration of the Tupolev, OAK and Tekhnodinamika companies.
Speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic on 15 February, Tatarstan Minister of Labour and Social Support Elmira Zaripova said that in 2022 as many as 24.7 bn roubles will be allocated through the Ministry for social support of Tatarstan residents which is nearly by 2bn more than in the previous year.

On 11 February President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev accompanied by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Director General of the Tatneft Oil Company visited a complex of refineries and petrochemical plants TANEKO in Nizhnekamsk.
On 11 February in the Kazan Kremlin Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
In his welcoming speech, Minnikhanov said: “We highly appreciate your attention and possibility to develop cooperation with Kazakhstan within friendly Russia-Kazakhstan relations. Kazakhstan is our strategic partner and there are many agreements with your regions. Despite the pandemic our trade turnover has been about 60m dollars for two years. Nevertheless our potential is much higher”.
