On 1 June Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who is on a working trip to the Tetyushi municipality of the republic, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov and other officials visited the Tetyushi Mechanical Plant (The Kazan Helicopter Plant Company), where the plant director Sergey Fedotov told them about the work of the enterprise.

On 1 June, speaking at a ceremony of awarding large families with the “The Parent’s Merit” medal in the Kazan Kremlin dedicated to the International Children’s Day, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the main task of the state was to create conditions for stable family wellbeing as it was important that each family lived in harmony, concord and comfort and felt confident about the future. The awarded families are representatives of various ethnicities living in the region, such as Udmurts, Tatars, Russians and Mordva.
On May 31, during his working visit to Kazan, Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev accompanied by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov visited the Kul Sharif mosque and the Cathedral of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God.
Patrushev had a tour of the mosque and got acquainted with its unique architecture and was informed about the history of the development of Islam in the territory of modern Tatarstan.

On May 31, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic dedicated to the spring sowing campaign, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Tatarstan Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov said that to date the sowing campaign is completed by 91 percent in Tatarstan.
On May 31, in the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov signed an agreement on establishing the location of the border between the constituent entities of the Russian Federation - the Republic of Tatarstan and the Republic of Bashkortostan.
On May 31, Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev, who arrived on a working visit in Tatarstan to hold a meeting on pressing issues of national security in the regions of the Volga Federal District, was met by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov at the Kazan International Airport.
On 30 May, during his working trip to Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Historical Mosque which is the oldest preserved stone mosque in the city.
The building of the mosque, which was returned to the Muslim community in 1991, was newly opened in 1993 and includes two facilities –the mosque itself and a madrasah both of which are cultural heritage sites.
