On 11 June Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with honorary guests - Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin, the Governor of Bryank region Aleksandr Bogomaz and others attended Sabantuy holiday in Chistopol municipality, where they visited horse race and the exposition of the modern agricultural machinery.

On June 10, at their meeting in the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Mayor of the city of Grozny (the Chechen Republic) Khas-Magomed Kadyrov discussed topical issues of cooperation, including the development of trade and economic relations and prospects for joint projects.

On June 10, at the Kazan City Hall, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov spoke at a joint meeting of the people’s deputy group of the State Duma on relations with the Parliament of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the inter-parliamentary group of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis on cooperation with the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

On 9 June at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the Head of the Lower Volga Watershed- Water Department Nikolay Ponomarev, discussed issues of long-term interaction in implementation of the federal projects of the Recovery of the Volga and Preservation of Unique Water Bodies, next year financing of a number of facilities and the possibility of organizing a meeting of the Watershed Council of the Lower Volga watershed region in Kazan.
