On February 24, in front of the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre during a summing up meeting of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov handed in keys to new official vehicles to the specialists of Regional Office of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) in Tatarstan.

In his congratulatory speech to residents of the republic Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin has said:

“On February 23 our country is celebrating the Defender of the Fatherland Day. This is a real nationwide holiday that has become a symbol of continuous homage to all those who courageously defended their Motherland during the years of war, stood for the independence of the country in hot spots and currently are on guard of the  boundaries of the Motherland in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

On February 22, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the delegation of the Tashkent region of Uzbekistan discussed a wide range of issues of trade and economic cooperation, focusing on industry, agriculture and cooperation in the humanitarian sphere.

On February 22, speaking at a meeting in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, Tatarstan Minister of Youth Timur Suleymanov said that a long-term programme of cooperation between Russia and the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIS) in the area of youth policy will be developed at the global youth summit in Kazan in May this year.

On February 22, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the delegation of Senegal.

On 22 February, speaking at a special event dedicated to the celebration of the Defender of the Fatherland Day held in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that patriotic and spiritual-moral upbringing of children and the youth is the priority task of the state.

On 22 February at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the President of the International Powerboating Federation (UIM) Raffaele Chiulli discussed further development of cooperation between the republic and the Federation and possibility of organizing in Kazan competitions under the UIM auspices.

On February 21, in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Minister of Education and Science of the republic Ilsur Khadiullin, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and Director of the educational institution Almaz Khamidullin visited the multidisciplinary lyceum «Unber», which was opened in the Art City residential complex on September 1, 2021.
