On June 15, on the sidelines of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Governor of the Arkhangelsk region Aleksander Tsybulsky and thanked him for attention to strengthening cooperation with Tatarstan.

On June 15, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a working visit in Saint Petersburg to take part in the events of Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum.

Tatarstan President is scheduled to hold a number of meetings and business talks with governors of Russian regions, top managers of large companies and enterprises.

On June 15, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the Chairman of the Finnish-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry, CEO and Founder of the Novroll Company Rostem Heiredin discussed issues of potential cooperation in information technologies, including that in information security. Head of the Investment and Venture Fund of Tatarstan Aynur Aydeldinov took part in the meeting.

On 15 June at their meeting in the Government house of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the Head of the Ontustik Trade and Industrial Corporation Serikjan Seytjanov discussed issues of cooperation in oil and gas sphere and implementation of joint projects. With participation of the Acting Rector of the Kazan Federal University (KFU)  and Dmitriy Tayurskiy and Director General of the Tatneftekhiminvest holding Rafinad Yarullin, the parties of the meeting also discussed possibility of establishing a branch of the KFU in Shymkent (Kazakhstan).

On June 14, speaking at the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic at a videoconference with all municipal regions of the republic on holding traditional culture holidays in 2022 under the Year of Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia,

Chairman of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of Tatars Danis Shakirov said that this year, with the support of Tatarstan, 388 Sabantuies will be held in different cities and regions of Russia. The Tatar national holiday will also be organized in other countries of the world, in places with a high concentration of Tatars.

On June 14, at their meeting in the building of Ministry in Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov together with Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Roman Shaykhutdinov, First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the republic Andrey Pominov and Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Valery Falkov discussed the issues of development of Innopolis University and the innovative city of Innopolis in general, further construction of infrastructure facilities, as well as technology parks and issues of attracting specialists.

On 13 June Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin took a look at the construction of a new bridge across the Volga which will be 3362meters long and is a section of the new M12-express highway.

On 12 June Tatarstan First Deputy Prime Minister Rustam Nigmatullin, Deputy Chief Commander of Russian Navy in armament Igor Mukhametshin, Director General of the Ak Bars Holding Company Ivan Yegorov and representatives of regional ministries and departments, administration of Zelenodolsk region and the Ak Bars Shipbuilding Corporation took part in a ceremony of laying down hulls of two 03182p ships, which was translated online to other three shipbuilding enterprises. 

In his congratulatory address to Tatarstan residents on the occasion of the Day of Russia Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has said: 

“Dear Tatarstan residents! From the bottom of my heart I congratulate you with the most important state holiday – the Day of Russia. It symbolizes the might of our country, grandeur of its long-century history, achievements and feats of its multinational people.

On 11 June Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov took part in the national Sabantuy holiday in Verkhniy Uslon municipality, where he visited the national farmstead exhibiting peculiarities of everyday life of the Tatars, the Chuvashs, the Mariy and other ethnicities and watched national games and sports competitions.
