Nikolai Patrushev and Rustam Minnikhanov have visited the Tetyushi Mechanical Plant

On 1 June Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who is on a working trip to the Tetyushi municipality of the republic, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov and other officials visited the Tetyushi Mechanical Plant (The Kazan Helicopter Plant Company), where the plant director Sergey Fedotov told them about the work of the enterprise.

He said that the plant manufactures 8 300 parts for all modifications of helicopters and in the last five years its productivity has grown four times. In 2021 there was a 23 per cent growth of the gross output and the plant is undergoing production modernization and has purchased the most advanced machine-tool equipment, and in 2008 a new commissioned production shop made it possible to improve labour conditions and increase the production volume.

Frolov informed that currently the plant has 130 specialists and 15 new jobs were created in 2022.

Rustam Minnikhanov and Nikolai Patrushev got acquainted with the plant produce, which includes tap nozzles, shunting forks, end pieces, air valves and other parts.

The guests also looked round the exposition of the fishing history museum which tells the history of the river and a man and the history of the ancient trade of local residents.
