Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in celebrations of Oil Workers Day in Almetyevsk

On September 3, in Almetyevsk, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Director General of Tatneft Oil Company Nail Maganov, other officials and honorary oil workers, oil and gas workers, representatives of labour collectives took part in a solemn part of the holiday dedicated to the Day of Oil and Gas industry Workers and the Day of the city of Almetyevsk.

Traditionally, a parade of special equipment and representatives of labor collectives took place on the main street of the city. The celebration continued with a theatrical prologue. Then the most distinguished employees of the industry were awarded state and departmental awards. During the day, competitions and concerts were held at various venues.

Minnikhanov and Maganov visited the competition site of professional skills of Tatneft Oil Company. Tatarstan President emphasized that such an open and spectacular format of the competition greatly contributes to the popularization of working professions in general and the profession of an oil worker in particular.
