Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in opening Almetyevsk Arts School

On 3 September Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who came on a working trip to Almetyevsk region of the republic to take part in the events celebrating the Day of Workers of Oil and Gas Industry, took part in a ceremony of opening a new arts school in the city which comprises classes of sculpture, art photography; fine arts, computer graphics and history of arts.

The school teaches not only children but also adults.

Speaking at the ceremony, Rustam Minnikhanov said:”I would like to express my gratitude to Nail Maganov and the Tatneft Oil Company for reconstruction of this facility. The Company does a lot for improving life of Tatarstan residents and not only in Almetyevsk but in other cities of our republic as well”.

The Tatneft told journalists that the old building could not house all those who wanted to study fine arts and drawing and the competition was more than 6 applicants per place. After reconstruction the school can enroll 1 050 people including those with various disabilities.

Next facility reconstructed by the capital overhaul programme was the Psychological Help Center for youth which uses different methods of diagnostics .There are 15 such centers in 6 cities of the republic and it is supposed that they will also train educational psychologist for providing psychological help to young people.
