On 19 January the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rutam Minnikhanov and the Russian Minister of Sports Oleg Matytsin attended the regional championship in phygital sports held in the Ak Bars Sports Palace in Kazan.

On 19 January at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Director General of the Russian Post Mikhail Volkov discussed implementation of the programme of capital overhaul of post offices in the republic, which is being implemented by the errand of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Thus in 2022 the republic carried out modernization of 15 post offices and 32 of them in 2023.

On 18 January at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Deputy Director of the Federal Penitentiary Service Rustam Stepanenko discussed the construction progress of a new pretrial detention centre for 1000 persons in Kazan.

On 18 January, speaking at a meeting of the International Supervisory Council of the National World Level Center “Rational use of liquid hydrocarbon deposits of the planet” held in the Scientific Library of the Kazan Federal University, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that due to active work of our universities the republic became second in the overall ranking of the scientific and technological development of Russian regions.

On 17 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, the Deputy Commander of Private Security Service and Licensing Service of the National Guard of the Russian Federation of Volga Federal District Pavel Degtyarev, the Chief Federal Inspector for Tatarstan Viktor Demidov and representatives of interacting structures took part in a meeting held by the Head of the Department of the National Guard of the Russian Federation  for Tatarstan Rustem Gimerov which summarized results of work of the department service and military work in 2023 and set forth main tasks for the coming period. 

On 16 January, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Minister of the republic, Tatarstan Minister of Education and Science Ilsur Khadiullin informed that more than 155 thousand parents have already registered in the renovated “Tatarstan E-education” system.

The state information system of Tatarstan e-education put into operation in 2009 required serious modernization and its renovated version has started its work since January 2024.

On 16 January at their working meeting in Moscow the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Marat Khusnullin summarized results of work done in 2023 and implementation of national projects “The housing and the city environment and “Safe and high quality roads” and further plans of joint work and development of the region.

State Counselor of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev took part in voluntary action “Christmas Tree of wishes” and fulfilled the New Year’s wish of 7 year old Timur Galiev from Kazan.

On 15 January, speaking at an event dedicated to the Russian Prosecutor’s Day held with participation of the Chairman of the regional State Council Farid Mukhametshin and the Chief Federal Inspector for Tatarstan Viktor Demidov, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that today prosecutors fulfill with credit their complex and responsible tasks on supporting the law and order in the republic.

On January 13, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government house of the republic, Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan - regional Minister of Agriculture Marat Zyabbarov informed that in 2023, state support for the agricultural sector of the republic was provided in 78 areas in the amount of 15.1 billion roubles, including 4 billion roubles coming from the federal budget and 11.1 billion roubles from the budget of Tatarstan.
