On 9 February the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Science and Education Valeriy Falkov, who came to Kazan to take part in a ceremonial meeting dedicated to the Day of Russian Science, visited the Institute of History after Sh. Mardjani established in 1996, which is the leading research center for studies in history of Tatars and Tatarstan, Eurasia and Turkic-Tatar civilization.

On 8 February at their meeting in the Government House of the republic in Kazan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Chairman of the Board of the Discover Event Company Yunus Ete, who is also the President of Turkish Association of International Exhibitions Organizers, discussed cooperation in international exhibition business, including preparations to the International economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World:KazanForum” in Kazan.

On 8 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who came on a working trip to Nurlat region of the republic to take part in a resulting session dedicated to outcomes of 2023, got acquainted with work of a new water supply system of the water intake facility of the City of Nurlat built by the federal programme “Clear water” within the framework of the national project “Housing and City Environment”.

On 8 February at their meeting in the Government House of the republic the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Executive Director of the “New Land Grain Corridor” Company Karen Ovsepyan discussed issues of interaction and potential cooperation. Rustam Minnikhanov was given a short presentation of the company and its possibilities in current economic conditions and the logistics part.

On 8 February at their meeting in the Government House of the republic held with participation of regional Deputy Prime Minister Rustam Nigmatullin and Minister of Transport and Road Economy of the republic Farit Khanifov, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Head of the Federal Road Agency (RosAvtoDor) Roman Novikov discussed issues of further cooperation in road construction and implementation of promising investments projects.

In his congratulatory address the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated numerous representatives of scientific community of the republic with the Day of Russian Science

In his congratulation he said: “This year it is a special day as the Russian Academy of Sciences celebrates its 300th birthday. I join to congratulations to the Academy and wish its team new achievements for the good of the Motherland.

On 7 February at their working meeting in St Petersburg, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Chairman of the Gazprom Board Aleksey Miller discussed the progress of work in gasification and other spheres of cooperation.

The participants of the meeting paid special attention to work of Gazprom in implementation of the rpogrammes of gas supply and gasification of Tatarstan by the end of 2025.

On 7 February, speaking at a ceremony of unveiling a monument to the First Bashkortostan President Murtaza Rakhimov dedicated to his 90th birthday and held in Ufa, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that Murtaza Rakhimov “is an important state leader for the whole of Russia and an example for all us how we should work”.

On 5 February , speaking at an expanded meeting of the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of the Federal Supervisory Natural Resources Management Service (RosPrirodNadzor) held in the IT Park in Naberezhnyye Chelny with participation of the Head of the RosPrirodNadzor Svetlana Radionova and dedicated to results of work of the Interregional Department in 2023 and tasks for 2024,  the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov  said that today the republic is facing many tasks in the sphere of environmental protection and rational use of nature.

On 5 February the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in an expanded meeting of the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of the Federal Supervisory Natural Resources Management Service (RosPrirodNadzor) held in the IT Park in Naberezhnyye Chelny with participation of the Head of the RosPrirodNadzor Svetlana Radionova and dedicated to results of work of the Interregional Department in 2023 and tasks for 2024.
