Rais of Tatarstan and Prime Minister of Belarus visit KAMAZ

On 26 May during their working trip to Naberezhnyye Chelny the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Prime Minister of Belarus Aleskand Turchin accompanied by the Director General of the KAMAZ Sergey Kogogin visited the KAMAZ Automaker Company where they got acquainted with work of the main assembly line and the cabin assembly line which manufacture up to 210 trucks a day.

The large model range includes up to 300 modifications and last year the plant manufactured 53 thousand units of commercial machinery, the components to which are supplied by 40 enterprises from Belarus.  

Then Aleksandr Turchin looked round the KAMAZ Innovations Center which develops promising technologies which are later introduced into the production, such as new materials, units and components. 

In completion the guests from Belarus visited the KAMAZ Scientific and Technological Center where they were shown 20 new high end KAMAZ trucks including the quarry dump trucks and hydrogen machinery. Rustam Minnikhanov and Aleksandr Turchin also tested the K-5 generation trucks by driving Kamaz-54902 and Kamaz-54901 accordingly.
