Rustam Minnikhanov holds a meeting with head of small oil companies on results of their work in the first three months of 2025

On 28 May Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting with small oil companies in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and dedicated to results of their work in the first three months of 2025 and tasks of their further development.

Opening the meeting, the Rais of the republic informed than in the first three months of the current year the oil branch of the country continued to adapt to external conditions with the tendency of the oil price drop.

He said that the situation in the economy of the republic was stable and according to the results of the first three months the companies produced about 8.3m tonnes of oil, including  1.7m tonnes produced by small companies.

In his report about work of small oil companies in the first three months of 2025, the Director General of the Nefteconsortsium Rafael Mingazov informed that 24 companies exceeded their established targets for oil production volumes. He also told about having drilled 74 thousand meters of rock and about 66 new wells put into operation.

The Deputy Head of the Volga-Kama interregional Directorate of the Rostekhnadzor Fayaz Shakirov informed participants of the meeting about compliance of small oil companies with the legal requirements in the natural resource use.

In the end of the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov thanked heads of companies for their work and the contribution into the oil production of the republic and reminded that such tasks as improvement of oil production efficiency, further training of the staff and ensuring production safety, including cybersecurity, are still important for oil workers.

He also reminded about the traditional Regional Open Field School Olympics of Young Geologists to be held in Almetyevsk on 11-17 July and thanked heads of oil companies for supporting work with children and the youth.
