On 19 May, speaking at his meeting with the Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry of Qatar Sultan Bin Rashid Al-Hater on the sidelines of the ХIV International Economic Forum “Russia-Islamic World: KazanForum 2023”, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated the delegation from the country with the perfect organization of the 2022 Soccer World Cup. 

On 19-May at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and a delegation from the Sultanate of Oman discussed issues of further cooperation in economics and industry and increasing the mutual trade turnover.

On May 18, at their meeting on the sidelines of the International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum 2023”, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the leadership of FESCO transport group discussed issues of cooperation in the transport and logistics industry, in the development of container transportation, as well as the implementation of joint projects for training specialists. 

On May 18, on the sidelines of the International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum 2023”, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the delegation of OIC Youth Ministers.

Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that Tatarstan pays special attention to the issues of youth policy. There are all opportunities and the necessary infrastructure to fulfill the potential of young people. There are special programmes to support young scientists and young families. Thematic festivals and forums are held regularly.

Rais of the republic emphasized the importance of the "Movement of the First" for the education and self-development of youth.

On June 27, His Holiness the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take park in the plenary session of the Strategic Vision Group «Russia - Islamic World» (Kazan City Hall), was met by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at the Kazan International Airport.

On May 18, on the sidelines of KazanForum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a meeting of Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin with the UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi.

On May 17, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Minister of Higher Education of Malaysia Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin discussed issues of further cooperation, including in the sphere of education.

On May 17, at the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov together with Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Ramazan Abdulatipov had a meeting with Deputy Secretary-General of the OIC Ahmad Kawesa Sengendo, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the XIV International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic world. KazanForum 2023”.

On 17 May the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov , Deputy Director General of the Department of Islamic Development of Malaysia  Sirajuddin Suhaimi, the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and the Chairman of the Tatarstan Board of Muslims - the Mufti of the republic Kamil Samigullin attended the ceremony of opening the Russia Halal market Fair organized on the sidelines of the in the XIV International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic world. KazanForum 2023”.
