On 21 May during his working trip to the Ancient City of Bolgar, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the regional Deputy Prime Minister Vasil Shaykhraziev, who is the Chairman of the Milli Shura National Council of the World Congress of Tatars, the Mufti of Russia Ravil Gaynutdin and the Mufti of the Spiritual Assembly of Muslims of Russia Albir Krganov looked round an exhibition of original relics of Prophet Mohammed held in the Memorial Sing from 19 to 23 May and dedicated to the ceremonial celebrations of the Day of official adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgaria. 

In his address on the occasion of the Day of official adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgaria, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated residents of the republic, its guests and compatriots with the remarkable date of the Day of official adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgaria.

On 20 May in the Kazan Kremlin the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin had a meeting with His Holiness the Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia  who came to take part in the ХIV International Economic Forum “Russia-Islamic World: KazanForum 2023”.

On 20 May the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the plenary session of the XIII All-Russia Forum of Tatar religious leaders held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center with participation of 1000 people from 77 regions of Russia.

On 20 May, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Chairman of the Religious Boar of Muslims of Russia Ravil hazrat Gaynutdin, the Mufti of the Spiritual Board of Muslims of Tatarstan Kamil Samigullin, the Rector of Kazan Federal University Lenar Safin and other officials took part in in a ceremony of unveiling a memorial plaque dedicated to the first edition of Koran published in 1803, which was installed in the yard of the University.

On 19 May at a plenary session of the of the ХIV International Economic Forum “Russia-Islamic World: KazanForum 2023” held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, the Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin read loud the welcoming address of Russian President Putin to participants of the Forum which said: “ Dear friends, please accept my cordial welcome on occasion of the opening of the ХIV International Economic Forum in Kazan.

On 19 May speaking at the plenary session of the ХIV International Economic Forum “Russia-Islamic World: KazanForum 2023” held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that it is a great honour and responsibility to host participants and guests of this  important international event in Kazan.

On 19-May at his  meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafaev with participation of  the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov on the sidelines of the ХIV International Economic Forum “Russia-Islamic World: KazanForum 2023”, the Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin  said: “We cherish our brotherly relations with Azerbaijan as they are of long-time strategic character. The tone to such interaction is set by leaders of our countries which are in the close and trust-based communication. We see that our trade turnover is growing and that there many joint companies.” 

On 19-May speaking at the session “Sber leadership in financing partnership development in Russia” held on the sidelines of the ХIV International Economic Forum “Russia-Islamic World: KazanForum 2023”, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that starting from 2016 the republic is taking an active part in the development of partnership banking and financial services related to it.

On 19-May at their meeting on the sidelines of the ХIV International Economic Forum “Russia-Islamic World: KazanForum 2023”, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Iranian First Deputy Minister of Agriculture Alireza Peyman-Pak discussed issues of interaction, strengthening of business and partnership ties in industry, agriculture and cultural and humanitarian spheres.
