On June 8, at their meeting,  the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Director General of Transneft Kama Region Oleg Balabanov discussed issues of further interaction, strengthening of business contacts and implementation of joint investment projects.

On June 8, on the sidelines of the International Forum of Education Ministers “Shaping the Future” held at the Bashir Rameev IT park, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Minister of Education and Higher Education of the State of Qatar Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi.

On June 8, at their meeting, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Gazprombank Tigran Khachaturov discussed issues of further cooperation on a number of joint projects and exchanged views on some topical issues in the economy.

On June 8, on the sidelines of the International Forum of Education Ministers “Shaping the Future” held at the Bashir Rameev IT park, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Director General of the Emirates Schools Establishment Mohamed Al Qassim.

On 8 June, welcoming participant of the plenary session of the International Forum of Education Ministers “Shaping the Future”, which is held in Kazan from 7 to 11 June with participation of ministers of Education from more than 20 foreign countries and representatives from regions of Russia, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that “it is the systemic improvement of education and upbringing which is the key of the successful future of our countries, their technological leadership and well-being of population”. He said that Tatarstan is a large educational and scientific center of Russia, comprising 127 research institutions which are taking part in R&D with the total amount of financing of 22,5bn rubles every year, 45 universities, which rank high in international rankings, 143 thousand students, which are trained in all spheres, and a network of equational organizations implementing programmes of comprehensive, additional and vocational training.

On 8 June the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Sleksey Pesoshin took part in the 44th session of Tatarstan State Council held by its Chairman Farid Mukhametshin.

In the beginning of the session the members of the State Council approved the agenda of the meeting which comprises 32 issues. In particular they considered the issue of electing magistrates in a number of judicial constituents of the republic, the list of whom was represented by the Acting Chairman of the Supreme Court of the republic Eduard Kaminskiy. 

On 8 June at the exhibition held on the sidelines of the International Forum of Education Ministers “Shaping the Future”, which is held in Kazan from 7 to 11 June with participation of ministers of Education from more than 20 foreign countries and representatives from regions of Russia, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov told Russian Minister of Education and Science Valeriy Falkov about educational and project work of the Innopolis University.

On 8 June the Aid of Russian President Andrey Fursenko, Russian Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov, the Minister of Science and Education of the country Valeriy Falkov and Tatarstan State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev took part in a morning session of the International Forum of Education Ministers “Shaping the Future”, which is held in Kazan from 7 to 11 June with participation of ministers of Education from more than 20 foreign countries and representatives from regions of Russia.

On 8 June Tatarstan Prime Minister accompanied by the regional Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Protection Elmira Zaripova paid a visit to the Comprehensive Social Services Center of Kazan.

On June 7, at the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Tatarstan Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov held a meeting of the Commissions for the consideration of applications on conclusion of implementation working agreements at Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, Zelenodolsk and Chistopol Priority Social and Economic Development Areas.
