Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in a ceremony of opening the public space with a domed pavilion in Mendeleyevsk

On 23 August during his working trip to Mendeleyevsk region the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan took part in a ceremonial opening the new public space with domed pavilion located on Burmistrov Street in Mendeleyevsk.

Speaking at the ceremony, the head of the region Radmir Belyaev said: “It is not a secret that we together with the whole city were watching the construction of the dome. It is impressive! And now we are opening the new wonderful space” and expressed his gratitude to Rustam Minnikhanov for having supported the project, for bicycle lanes and new public spaces.

In his turn Rustam Minnikhanov shared his impressions from what he has seen in the city and his visit to the Ammonia Company. “We have looked round the chemical andtechnological lyceum after capital overhaul. It is one of the best specialized educational institutions in our republic. We can see how the city is changing and are delighted with your successes. A great way lies ahead and may Mendeleyevsk be always popular and competitive,” he concluded.

After Rustam Minnikhanov looked round the pavilion, the head of the region Radmir Belyaev, his press-secretary Regina Shamsutdinova and the head of the Fund “Institute of Tatarstan Cities Development” Nailya Zinatullina told him about several cultural projects to be implemented in the city, such as a complex of park spaces of the Ushkovs mansion and the Khimic city stadium, the improvement of the beach and construction of modern public transport stops.

In the end of his working trip to Mendeleyevsk, Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Central Stadium where he looked round athletes’ changing rooms, procedure room and other facilities and was told about the military-adventure sports even “The Race of Heroes” to be held in the city on 26 August.
