On 18 July, speaking at his meeting with the Chairman of the Konya Chamber of Industry Mustafa Büyükeğin during his working visit to the City of Konya, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that cooperation of Tatarstan and Turkey within Russia-Turkey relations has long history and the task is to ramp up amount of cooperation, including that with business of Konya.

On 17 July, during his working trip to the Province of Konya, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Mevlâna Museum dedicated to life and work of a philosopher Jalal ad-Din Muhammad Rumi.

On 17 July, speaking at his meeting with the Mayor of Konya Uğur İbrahim Altay, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who came to the Province of Konya on a working visit, stated that the visit of a Tatarstan delegation to Konya is aimed at broadening contacts both with the city and the province. “We are planning to have an active cooperation not only in agribusiness but also culture, archeology and tourism. You have very rich history and we have much in common, we should communicate more closely and develop business relations. Direct flights between Istanbul and Kazan facilitate this,” he said. 

On 17 July, speaking at his meeting with the Governor of Konya Vahdettin Özkan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who came on a working visit to the province, said that being the agricultural center of the country, Konya has an important place in economy of Turkey and the republic has have a great desire to strengthen mutual cooperation.

On 17 July, upon his arrival on a working visit to Turkey, in the Airport of Konya the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov was met by the Governor of the Province of Konya Vahdettin Özkan. 

On July 15, at the historical and archaeological complex, Tatarstan State Councilor, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Regional Revival Fund and the UNESCO Good Will Ambassador Mintimer Shaimiev opened the festival "Revival: Epos in a Modern Reading, organized by Tatarstan Ministry of Culture and the Revival Regional Fund.

On 15 July, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of the Chairman of the regional State Council Farid Mukhametshin and Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic, the Director of the Fund “Institute of Tatarstan cities development” Nailya Zinnatullina told about work on improvement of public spaces and yards.

On July 15, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and the Chairman of the regional State Council Farid Mukhametshin, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utility Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported on the course of the overhaul of social and cultural facilities and multi-apartment buildings.

On July 14, at their meeting in the Kazan Kremlin, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Chairman of the VEB.RF State Development Corporation Igor Shuvalov discussed the projects being implemented in the republic with the support of VEB.RF. namely, the development of infrastructure in monotowns.

On 14 July at their meeting on the sidelines of the oil summit and IV International Oil and Gas Youth Forum in Almetyevsk, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and schoolchildren and students, representing eco-volunteers, participants of the guidance counseling festival “PRO-interest” and the project “History is created by people”, discussed issues of ecology, development of education and preservation of history of Tatarstan.
