On 31 August, speaking at his meeting with theMinister of Oil and Environment of the Kingdom of Bahrain Doctor Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Daina on the sidelines of the Tatarstan Oil-Gas and Chemistry Forum at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that Russia attaches great attention to interaction with Bahrain. “Similar positions to the broad circle of international and regional problems and their desire to solve the conflict situations and counteract threats are bringing leaders of our countries closer,” Rustam Minnikhanov said. 

On August 31, during his participation in the Tatarstan Oil-Gas and Petrochemical Forum-2023 held at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov got acquainted with numerous exhibits of the specialized exhibition TatOilExpo-2023.

After the solemn opening of the Forum, Rustam Minnikhanov and accompanying him officials visited TatOilExpo-2023, where they looked around new petrochemical equipment and technologies.

On August 31, opening the Tatarstan Oil-Gas and Petrochemical Forum 2023 at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that the event is timed to mark the 80th anniversary of the start of oil production in the republic.

On 30 August, speaking at his meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Zambia to Russia Shadreck Luwita, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov stated that the role of Africa in the world system and international relations continues to grow. “For Russia Africa is an important foreign political and economic partner, cooperation with whom demands more active development,” he said.

On August 30, at their meeting with Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation Dauren Abayev, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov conveyed congratulations to the leadership of Kazakhstan and  residents of the republic on the Constitution Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is celebrated on August 30.

On August 30, speaking at a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to the Russian Federation Sheikh Ahmed bin Nasser bin Jasim Al Thani held at the Kazan Equestrian Complex, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said relations between Russia and Qatar are developing steadily.

On 30 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the State Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev and the Head of the Russian Equestrian Federation Marina Sechina attended competitions for the Tatarstan Rais Cup dedicated to the Day of the Republic. 

On 30 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, the regional Minister of Education and Science Ilsur Khadiullin and the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin walked round a new public space-the park by the “Bright Valley” residential complex on the right bank of the Noksa River in the Soviet District of Kazan.

On 30 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the renovated Savior’s Tower of the Kazan Kremlin, which now has a museum opened after its overhaul.

The museum is dedicated to fortification of the fortress and the Savior’s Tower in different periods of time and tells its history starting from the Volga Bulgaria till present.
