On 20 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov attended the XIX World Athletics Championship held in Budapest with all honorary guests who are taking part in celebrations of the national holiday of Hungary being invited to attend it.

On 20 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who came to Budapest on the invitation from Hungary to take part in the main public holiday of the State Foundation Day,   had a meeting with the President of the Republic of Srpska of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik and the Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željka Cvijanović.

On 19 August Rustam Minnikhanov, who came on a working trip to Budapest, had a meeting with the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

Speaking at the meeting, Rustam Mnnikhanov thanked the Prime Minister of Hungary for a warm reception, having stated that both parties have a long cooperation history.

On 19 August, upon his arrival on a working trip to Hungary, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov was met by the Minister of the Hungarian Prime Minister’s Office Gergely Gulyás and the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Russia to Hungary Yevgeniy Stanislavov in the Budapest International Airport.

On 18 August at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held with participation of all munocop[alities of Tatarstan via video conference, representatives of Atnya and Zainsk regions have handed in the Rais (Head) of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov a loaf of bread baked from novel corn.

On 18 August at his meeting with the Governor of Ulyanovsk region Aleksey Russkikh and business communities of both regions, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan and Ulyanovsk have good prospects for increasing their trade and economic ties taking into consideration the transport accessibility and close branches of industry and agriculture. 

On August 18, during his working visit to Dimitrovgrad, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Governor of the Ulyanovsk region Aleksey Russkikh visited Federal Scientific and Clinical Centre for Medical Radiology and Oncology, which is operating since 2018 and is one of the largest institutions in the structure of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency and the only complex of the «closed cycle». The Centre presents all existing methods of cancer diagnosis and treatment used in nuclear medicine.

On August 18, during his working visit to Dimitrovgrad, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Governor of the Ulyanovsk region Aleksey Russkikh visited State Research Centre - Research Institute of Atomic Reactors (RIAR).

On August 17, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a meeting of the Presidium of the State Council on the development of public transport chaired by Russian President Vladimir Putin held at the Moscow Kremlin.

Opening the meeting, Vladimir Putin emphasized that issues of public transport development are important for millions of citizens of our country, for almost every person.

On August 17, at the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Project Manager of Rosatom Production System of Rosatom State Corporation Dmitry Repyev, representatives of the Administration of the Rais of the republic and the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan, ministries and departments, regional organizations and enterprises took part in a joint meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan and the Coordination Council on the implementation of the pilot project «Efficient Region» chaired by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and participation of all municipal areas connected via videoconference.
