Rustam Minnikhanov: Tatarstan and the One Russia party are connected with the long-time cooperation relations

On 9 December, speaking at the 35th conference of Tatarstan regional branch of the One Russia Party held with participation of the State Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev, the Head of the Party Central Executive Committee Aleksandr Sidyakin and the Secretary of the One Russia regional branch Farid Mukhametshin, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that the republic and the One Russia party are connected with the long-time cooperation relations. 

He reminded that on 1 December the One Russia celebrated its 22nd birthday. “The party has passed a serious way of development and won the trust of people by its real deeds,” he said

The Rais of the republic emphasized that today the One Russia is an authoritative political power of our country, enjoys respect and trust of the society, is all for reaching the goals set forth by the head of the state and makes its contribution into the development of the country.

Rustam Minnikhanov stated that the First President of Tatarstan, the Hero of Labour of Russia Mintimer Shaimiev was one of the party organizers. “The regional branch is one of the most numerous in the country. The One Russia has a stable majority at all levels of power in the republic. The regional core group, heads of all municipal regions and city districts, heads of many organizations and enterprises take an active part in the party work,” he said.

Having mentioned the role of the One Russia in implementation of the People’s Programme (the main party document) in the republic, Rustam Minnikhanov reminded about the Presidential election to be held next year in Russia and said: “The republic completely supports the President’s course and his decision. Our cohesion and integrity are as important as never before. I am sure Tatarstan residents will make the correct choice.” 

He also informed about elections of members of the regional State Council of the seventh convocation and concluded: “I am sure the fruitful work of the party will be reflected in results of the coming election.”

The State Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev emphasized that the party has passed a long way and achieved the well-deserved leadership at the public and political space of the country. “Our strength is in our unity,” he said.

Having informed about work of the party related to the special military operation, Aleksandr Sidyakin handed in a letter of gratitude from the Party Chairman Dmitriy Medvedev to Mintimer Shaimiev  and Farid Mukhametshin handed in Rustam Minnikhanov and Mintimer Shaimiev letters of gratitude for their substantial contribution into work of the One Russia regional branch.
