On 19 December speaking at the XVIII meeting of Association of the Council of Municipalities of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov set forth a number of tasks for the work of municipal powers with population for 2024.

On 19 December at their meeting in Kazan, the Rais (Head) of TAtarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Head of Lisichansk Eduard Sakhnenko and the Head of Rubezhnoye Sergey Khortiv, who came to the republic to study experience of municipalities and take part in the meeting of Association of the Council of Municipalities of Tatarstan, discussed work being done in the cities supported by the republic.

On 19 December the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the State Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev took part in voluntary action “Christmas Tree of wishes”, where they took one of post cards with a wish from children from the Christmas tree erected in the lobby of the Korston Recreation Center.

On December 18, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, pilots and members of the Federation of Motor Sport of Tatarstan and veterans of motor sport of the republic took part in a solemn ceremony of summing up the results of the 2023 motorsport season in Tatarstan.

President of Auto Sports Federation of Tatarstan Ivan Egorov spoke about the results of the organization’s work in the past year.

On 18 December at their meeting in the Government House of the republic the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Chairman of the All-Russia Public Organization “Business Russia” Aleksey Repik discussed issues of further improvement of mechanisms for business development, improvement of investments climate, development of inter-regional and international cooperation and others.

On 18 December the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in putting new facilities into production of halobutyl rubber at Nizhnekamskneftekhim Company which is a part of the SIBUR.

Being the only manufacturer of halobutyl rubber in Russia, the Nizhnekamskneftekhim Company completed modernization of production of this product, raising the capacity from 150 to 200 thousand tonnes a year.

On December 18, speaking at the International Exhibition-Forum Russia at the stand of Tatarstan in Moscow, it was underlined that under the cooperation of Tatarstan with the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the Republic of Belarus is in the top 5 partner countries. At the invitation of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, the Heads of Government of the CIS countries attended the exhibition «Russia» at the All-Union Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy (VDNKh). 

On December 18, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who arrived on a working visit in Moscow to the stand of Tatarstan organized at the International Exhibition-Forum Russia, informed the heads of government of the CIS countries about cooperation between Tatarstan and the states that are members of the Commonwealth.

On 18 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a voluntary action “Christmas Tree of wishes”, where he took one of post cards with a wish from children from the Christmas tree erected in the lobby of the regional State Council.

The Prime Minister will fulfill a wish of a 10 year old boy Bilaletdin from Almetyevsk who is dreaming of a bicycle.

On December 16, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and The Chairman of the Board of Avtodor State Company Vyacheslav Petushenko as honored guests attended the solemn events and finals of the Avtodor Cup, where over 350 strongest athletes in Koresh and Greco-Roman wrestling from 35 regions of Russia took part.
