Rustam Minnikhanov meets winners, prize holders and mentors of Professional and Abilimpiks championships

On 17 March in the ceremonial hall of the multidisciplinary Kazan Lyceum 187 the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the regional Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva, the Minister of Science and Education of the republic Ilsur Khadiullin and other officials had a meeting with winners, prize holders and mentors of Professional and Abilimpiks championships.

In the beginning of his visit to the lyceum, accompanied by the Headmaster Gulnara Galeeva, the Rais of the republic also looked round classrooms and laboratories, got acquainted with some educational programmes and visited the lyceum IT polygon.

Later, welcoming participants of the meeting in the ceremonial hall, Rustam Minnikhanov thanked them for their purposefulness and self-belief. “We are proud of you,” he said and added: “As there is great demand in blue-collar and engineering manpower it is important to use knowledge and skills you have gained in practice, in real sector of economy”.

He emphasized that today championship movements are an efficient channel of interaction between enterprises and the education system. 
Having reminded that every year the republic gets prizes at the team professional skills competitions, the Rais of the republic also mentioned winners and prize holders of national unmanned aircraft competitions. ”Last year our students and schoolchildren were the best drone operators in Russia having won the 1-st place in  overall standingsм ,” said and in the end of the meeting handed in state awards to teachers and mentors.
