On November 29, during his working visit to Moscow, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the First Moscow State Medical University after Sechenov.
Sechenov University is the oldest, largest and leading Russian medical university, founded in 1758. Currently, over 18,000 students from Russia and other countries of the world (Malaysia, China, Syria, India, Iran, Brazil, as well as other countries in Asia, Africa and South America) are studying at Sechenov University.
Sechenov University is actively developing as a major medical center. It includes 25 institutes combining educational programs and scientific research. More than 2,000 teachers work with students, 85 per cent of whom have an academic degree.
On 28 November the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a plenary session of the forum “Tatarstan business partners” held in Kazan on 27-18 November with participation of about 350 Tatar entrepreneurs from 44 regions of Russia and 14 foreign countries.
On 28 November, speaking at his meeting with heads of Uzbekistan regional Chambers of Commerce in the Government House of the republic in Kazan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said: “Your visit to Tatarstan is a remarkable opportunity to establish new contacts aimed at development of Tatarstan-Uzbekistan cooperation within the framework of friendly relations between Russia and Uzbekistan.”
On 25 November at a meeting held by the Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshinn by video conference with all municipalities of the republic, the regional Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Lenar Garipov informed about preparation of agricultural machinery for field work in 2024.
At its meeting the supervisory Council of the Innopolis University has approved the appointment of Aleksandr Gasnikov – who graduated from MFTI, has the PhD in Physics and Mathematics, is the famous scientist in AI and Mathematics and Professor of the HSE, Skoltech and the Institute of Information Transfer- to the position of the University Rector.
On 21 November, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Minister of Transport and Road Economy Farit Khanifov informed that in the current year road work, which comprises repairs, reconstruction and construction of regional and federal highways, has been fulfilled for more than 210bn rubles in the republic.

On 21 November, speaking at the V Forum of Tatarstan Orthodox Community, dedicated to the 300th birthday of the establishment of Kazan Orthodox Seminary and held in Korston Recreation and Entertainment Center in Kazan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that the current forum is being held in a difficult period of time.”New challengers require us to be united, reserved and decisive in protecting our spiritual values,” he said.
On November 21, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the ceremony of launching the second stage of the Ozon wholesale distribution centre at the territory of Zelenodolsk Industrial Park. With the launch of the second stage of the logocentre, the storage area will almost double – from 23 to 43 thousand square meters. The fulfillment center will place 10 million goods of different categories, and about 2,000 people will work at the facility.
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Ozon for the implementation of large-scale investment projects in Tatarstan.
