On 23 October the President of Kazakhstan Kassym Jomart-Tokayev arrived to Kazan to take part in events of the BRICS Summit.

By an invitation from Russian President Vladimir Putin, Kassym Jomart-Tokayev will take part sessions of the BRICS Plus format.

On 23 October upon his arrival to the Kazan International Airport the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow, who came to Tatarstan to take part in events of the BRICS Summit, was welcomed by the Rais (Head) of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov.

In September of the current year the Administration of Turkey announced that they submitted an official application to join the BRICS and the decision on Turkey will be taken by the whole interstate amalgamation.

On October 23, the President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksander Lukashenko, who arrived in Kazan to take part in the BRICS Summit events, was met by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at the Kazan International Airport.

On October 23, the Prime Minister of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh, who arrived in Kazan to take part in the BRICS Summit, was met by the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Aleksey Pesoshin at the Kazan International Airport.

On October 23, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, who arrived in Kazan to take part in the BRICS Summit, was met by the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Aleksey Pesoshin at the Kazan International Airport.

On October 23, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, who arrived in Kazan to take part in the BRICS Summit, was met by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at the Kazan International Airport.

On October 23, the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who arrived in Kazan to take part in the BRICS Summit, was met by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at the Kazan International Airport.

On 22 October the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov as a member of a Russian delegation is taking part in a meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin the with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, which is taking place on the sidelines of the BRICS Summit in Kazan.
