Rais of Tatarstan meets Arch pastors of Tatarstan Metropolitan in the Diocese of Kazan

On 17 March at the Diocese of Kazan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Metropolitan of Kazan and Tatarstan Cyril, the Bishop of Chistopol and Nizhnekamsk Pakhomy, the Bishop of Almetyevsk and Bugulma Mefody and the Bishop of Naberezhnyye Chelny and Yelabuga Gavriil held with participation of the Head of the Department for Internal Policies of the Rais of the republic Ruslan Mukhalyamov.
Speaking at the meeting the Metropolitan Cyril thanked Rustam Minnikhanov for permanent and comprehensive support of the Church in reconstruction of the Church of Nikolas of Tula and the buildings of the Kazan Virgin Monastery, the church-monument of the Image "Not-Made-By-Hands" of our Lord Jesus Christ  on the Kazanka River and other important projects.

His Eminence told Rustam Minnkhanov about celebrations of the 470 years of the establishment of the Diocese of Kazan which will be held in 2025, about current work of the Diocese including humanitarian missions at the special military operation zone and social, educational and youth activities.
At the meeting the Arch Pastors and the Rais of the republic discussed issues related to services of the Russian Church in Tatarstan.
