On 10 September, speaking at a regional meeting in the Government house of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov asked Tatarstan residents to follow all preventive measures under the conditions of rising incidence of COVID-19.

Having noted that the Corona incidence grew by 1.8 times in the last week, he said it is necessary to step up vaccination and revaccination of the population.

“It is necessary to follow all sanitary requirements. We recommend wearing masks in organizations constantly contacting population, having large number of employees and those where it is not possible to keep social distance”, Tatarstan President concluded.​
