On 7 March, speaking at a ceremony of commending women who have made a big contribution into the development of the defense industry of the republic held in the Kazan Kremlin and dedicated to the International Women’s Day, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated women with the holiday and said: “I am happy to meet you on the eve of a wonderful spring holiday. Tatarstan has a number of enterprises implementing the state defense order in manufacturing ammunition, special chemistry, plane and ship building. Today our plants have multiplied production of the defense products and switched over to around-the-clock work. I would like to stress that women occupy key positions at industrial enterprises.”
He gave examples of such plants as POZIS, the Radiopribor, the Electropribor, the Kazan Gunpowder Plant and the Tochmash Enterprise where women share makes from 50 to 73 per of the staff.

On 6 March the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting of an organizational committee of the International conference “Study and preservation of the snow leopard in the world. Joined efforts” which Kazan will host on 13-15 March of the current year.

On 6 March at their meeting held with participation of the regional Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva and the President of the Academy of Sciences of the republic Rifkat Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the newly appointed Acting rector of Kazan National Research Technical University after A.Tupolev Kirill Okhotkin  discussed issues of implementation of scientific and educational programmes of the university, raising its image and other important issues.

On 5 March participants of a meeting of Tatarstan Security Council held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of the Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin, the First Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Rustam Nigmatullin and head of regional ministries, directorates, cities and regions, discussed measures on  prevention the hazard of hostile drones attavkes, ensuring an efficient population attack warning system and organization of safe shelters for the population in case of emergency.

On 4 March at their meeting in the Government House of the republic ,the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Director General of the Russian Post Mikhail Volkov discussed further development of the regional post network, the improvement of quality and accessibility of services for the population, attraction of labour force and the implementation of the logistics capacity of the republic. 

On March 3, at their meeting in the Kremlin in Moscow, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov informed Russian President Vladimir Putin about the region's economic development.

On 1 March, speaking at a regular meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin informed that in the current year it is planned to carry out capital overhaul of 911 multi-apartment houses in 42 municipalities of the republic. He said that the elevators’ replacement will be done in 234 of them and 688 will undergo general construction work.

On 1 March at a regular meeting held in the Government House of the republic the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov called for ramping up efforts to monitor the serviceability of heating systems and gas equipment.
