Rustam Minnikhanov visits digital smart plant of the Changan Company during his working trip to the town of Chongqing (China)

On 9 April the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who came to the town of Chongqing (China) on a working trip, visited the digital smart plant of the Changan Company located in the town.
 The Changan enterprise is among 20 largest car manufacturers with its headquarters in Chongqing, and in 2024 the world sales of the Changan Automobile made 2 683 000 cars.
In 2024 the Changan in partnership with the Huawei and the China Unicom opened the largest digital smart plant in its history. The plant which uses the advanced technologies such as more than 800 intellectual devices, 1400 robots, 650 autonomous vehicles and more than 200 automated job stations occupies the area of 770 thousand square meters. The designed capacity of the plant is 280 000 vehicles a year with a new car coming from the assembly line every minute 
The Company plans to launch the first flying car by 2026 and to develop an android by 2027.
