Rustam Minnikhanov meets UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi in Abu-Dhabi

On 6 April in Abu-Dhabi the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who came on a working trip to the United Arab Emirates to take part in an international investments forum, had a meeting with His Excellency the UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, who had visited Kazan many times and took part in the Kazan Forum.

Speaking at the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov said: “First of all, I would like to congratulate you with the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan and thank you for the attention you attach to issues of cooperation with Tatarstan within the framework of relations of our countries.” 

When he invited Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi to take part in the Forum this year, the Minister assured him that he will not just take part in it himself but will organize a large business-delegation and bring it to the KazanForum. 

“Being one of the leading centers for interaction of Russia with the Islamic world, Tatarstan can become a platform for attracting investments capital from the UAE and other Arabic countries,” Rustam Minnikhanov said. 

During the annual investments forum AIM Congress, where Tatarstan has been taking part since its establishment in 2015, the Rais of the republic is planning to have a number of meetings.
