On 14 October at a briefing in the Government House of Tatarstan journalists were informed about who will come to the BRICS summit to Kazan, who will have meetings with the Rais (Head) of the republic Rustam Minnihanov, what restrictions will be introduced in the capital of the republic and what is expected as the results of the largest international event.

On 14 October at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Interregional Environmental Protection prosecutor of the Volga region Aleksandr Ilyushin discussed important issues in ecology and environmental management and further interaction in the sphere of the enforcement of environmental management legislation.

On 12 October, speaking at a regional meeting held by Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic, the Director of the Fund “Institute of the Development of Tatarstan Cities” Nailya Zinatullina informed that the Our Year programme is coming to an end with 99% of the amount of work completed.

On 12 October, speaking at a regional meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that thanks to agribusiness workers the republic completely provides itself with essential products.

On 11 October at a solemn ceremony held in the Kazan Kremlin the Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin handed in Russia and Tatarstan state awards to 47 residents of the republic, including productivity leaders, outstanding workers of culture and science, best teachers and doctors, representatives of the creative and research intelligentsia and old stagers.

On 10 October the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who came on a working trip to Turkmenistan, had a meeting with the National Leader of Turkmen people, the Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow.

On 9 October  the newly appointed Chairman of Kazan Garrison Military Court Aleksey Novikov was introduced to Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at their meeting in the Government House of the republic where they discussed issues of further interaction and solution of joint important tasks.
