On 19 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a meeting of the Russian National Guard Troops Directorate for the republic which summarized results of its work in 2025.

After a welcoming speech of the Head of the Directorate Rustem Gumerov, the participants of the meeting listened to the report of the Deputy Head Sergey Yakushev who told about main activities of the Directorate in 2025.

On 17 January, speaking at a regular Saturday meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic, the Director General of the Gazprom Transgas Kazan Company Rustem Usmanov informed about measures taken for organizing safe use of in-house and in-apartment gas equipment.

Rustem Usmanov said that gas has become an inseparable part of life but at the same time a potential hazard. Therefore, ensuring the safe operation of domestic gas equipment is one of the priority tasks, he said and informed that currently the Gazprom Transgas Kazan carries out the operation and maintenance of 1 million 600 thousand gasified apartments, where over 2.5 million units of gas equipment (gas stoves, heating boilers, instantaneous water heaters) are installed.

On 17 January at a regular meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov gave a number of errands on ensuring safe use of in-house and in-apartment gas equipment.

Thus local administrations, units of the Emergencies Ministry, gas services, managing companies and the State Housing Inspection were given an errand to ramp up work of monitoring settlements attaching special attention to the condition of gas equipment, ventilation and electric and heating devices. It is also important to maintain daily control over the residences of large families, as well as families in difficult life situations.

On January 17, speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin informed that in Tatarstan as many as 172 construction and renovation projects with the fund amounting to 17 billion roubles planned for implementation under 5 national projects and 3 state programmes.

On 16 January, speaking at an expanded meeting of the collegium of Tatarstan State Committee for Tariffs dedicated to results of 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that tariff regulation is a strategic tool of state policy defining quality of life of all Tatarstan residents.

He stated that the issues of tariffs setting is the point where interests of population, business and the state overlap. The State Committee is facing a difficult task of finding an optimal balance when tariffs will be socially just for the population and at the same time create necessary conditions for the sustainable development of enterprises in the communal, power and transport spheres.

On 14 January in the Rameev IT Park in Kazan the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the winners and runners-up of the 2025 Professional Skills Championships the Professionals, the Ambilimpiks and the Archipelagos where he congratulated them with high achievements and expressed special gratitude to their mentors and all those who, by their personal example, contribute to the development of new specialists.

On 13 January, speaking about New Year events at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva informed that more than 8 thousand topical events were held during New Year holidays in the republic.

“These included mass celebrations, theatrical performances, concerts, sporting competitions, and much more. Outdoor events were particularly popular, “she said and informed about numerous events held within the Kurshe (Neighbor) festival and the regional Christmas Tree celebrations organized with participation of the Rais (Head) of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov.

On 13 January Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the regional Healthcare Minister Almir Abashev, the Acting Mayor of the Town of Innopolis Ildar Khuzzyatov and heads of medical and construction organizations of the republic took part in a solemn ceremony of opening a children’s polyclinic in Innopolis. The new facility more than twice expanded the medical service of the town and also houses the 24 our emergency ambulances unit with a separate entrance for its staff.​

On January 12, speaking at a solemn ceremony held at the Jalil State Opera and Ballet Theatre in Kazan dedicated to the Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation with participation of Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and the Chief Federal Inspector for the republic Viktor Demidov, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that despite the heavy workload, employees of the republic's prosecutor's office demonstrate the highest professionalism in their work, ensuring the rule of law and justice.

On January 12, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin introduced a new Tatarstan Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Azat Ziganshin to its staff.
