Expressing his gratitude to all those who have congratulated him with his 85-th birthday, Tatarstan State Counselor, the First President of the republic Mintimer Shaymiyev has said:

I would like to start with the most important thing – it is great to be present at my 85-th birthday. It seems to me there can hardly be any better present than this one!!!

Director General of IRCICA Makhmud Erol Kylych has sent a telegram congratulating the State Counselor of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaymiyev with his 85-th birthday, which said:

The Chairman of the Russian Government Mikhail Mishustin has congratulated the State Counselor of the republic and its First President Mintimer Shaymiyev with his 85-th birthday.
