Let me express you my deep gratitude for numerous congratulations which came to me and were also published in mass media and the Internet during celebrations of my 85th birthday.

On 8 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who came to Tyulayaci municipality to take part in a reporting meeting of the Municipality Council, visited the Tyulyachi Industrial park, the construction site of a liquefied natural gas plant and accompanied by the Head of Tyulyachi Municipality Nazip Khazipov looked around the exhibition of local manufacturers.

On 8 February at its 15th meeting, the expert council on startup-projects of the Innopolis presided by the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov and with participation of the Director General of Innopolis Renat Khalimov, Mayor of the City of Innopolis Ruslan Shagaleyev, Director of the Innopolis University Kirill Semenikhin and more than 50 representatives of the venture market, reviewed start-up projects for their future implementation in the city.

On 8 February , speaking at the end-of-the year collegium of the regional Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utility Sector held at the Kazan EXPO Exhibition Center, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated all workers of this sphere with the 100th anniversary of the construction branch of industry.

On 8 February at a briefing held in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Minister of Sports Vladimir Leonov told about large sports events to be held in the republic in 2022. 

On February 8, at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a summing up meeting of Tatarstan Ministry of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities on the results of its work in 2021 and plans for 2022.

On February 8, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering, where he looked around the Heritage and the Archiphysics educational centres. Pro-Rector for Academic Affairs and Research of the University Yevgeny Vdovin gave an explanation.

The Centre for Architectural Restoration "Heritage" was established to train personnel and provide scientific and methodological support for facilities of restoration and preservation of historical heritage. Training is provided on both traditional and innovative architectural restoration technologies, including digital techniques and equipment.

On February 8, speaking at an extended summing up meeting of the Prosecutor's Office of Tatarstan on the results of its work in 2021 and the tasks of strengthening law and order in 2022, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that in 2021 the prosecution authorities of the republic received more than 96,000 complaints from citizens, the department officers revealed over 10,000 violations and took prosecutorial response measures.

On February 8, in the Kazan Kremlin, on the Day of Russian Science, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov handed in state awards of the republic in science and technology.

On February 7, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the first meeting of the Commission for Scientific and Technological Development of Russia in 2022, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko held via videoconference.
