On 4 February at their meeting in the Kazan Kremlin Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, who came on a working visit to Kazan, discussed further steps in development of the regional economy and strengthening the industrial capacity of the republic.

On 4 February Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, who came on a working visit to Kazan, visited the Khimgrad technopolis - a modern industrial chemical park with a total area of 131 hectares. The site comprises 360 companies including seven of them with a foreign capital share.

On February 4, at the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Leila Fazleeva chaired an extended meeting of the operational headquarters to counter the spread of a new coronavirus infection in the republic, held in a videoconference format with all municipal regions of Tatarstan.

On February 4, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov together with the Director General of United Aircraft Corporation Yury Slyusar and Director General of Irkut Corporation Andrey Boginsky visited the KAPO – Composite Enterprise in Kazan.

On February 3, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Sport of the republic Vladimir Leonov and the Russian gymnast, the four-time Olympic champion, vice-president of the Artistic Gymnastics Federation of Russia Alexey Nemov discussed the preparation and holding of the Russian Artistic Gymnastics Championship in Kazan, which will take place at the Gymnastics Centre in April this year. The tournament will be one of the qualifying stages for the European Championship to take place in Munich in summer 2022.

On 3 February at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Health Protection Dmitriy Khubezov discussed issues of the work of the regional healthcare system under the conditions of COVID-19.

Speaking at an expanded meeting of the Volga-Kama inter-regional Department of Rosprirodnadzor held in Nizhnekamsk with participation of the Head of Rosprirodnadzor Svetlana Rodionova, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has said that the republic has always paid much attention to issues of ecology and environmental protection. 

On 2 February during his working trip to Nizhnekamsk, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremony of opening a new building of the Volga-Kama inter-regional Department of Rosprirodnadzor (The Federal Supervisory Natural Resources Management Service), which also houses a branch laboratory of the Center of laboratory tests and technical measurements in Tatarstan. The employees of the Service were also handed in 120 new company cars. 

On 2 February Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Head of Rosprirodnadzor (The Federal Supervisory Natural Resources Management Service) Svetlana Radionova and the Chairman of Board of Directors of the SIBUR Holding Dmitriy Konov visited the construction site of a new olephine producing complex ЭП-600 in Nizhnekamsk.
