On 29 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and the President of the Russian Fencing Federation Ilgar Mammadov took part in a ceremony of opening the Fencing Center located on Korolenko Street in Kazan.

On 28 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and the Executive Director of the State Housing Fund Marat Zaripov took part in an event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the fund, where he announced about launching a new regional housing programme which will make it possible for families of participants of the special military operation to buy apartments by the social mortgage.

On August 28, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn ceremony of unveiling the bust to the participant of the World War II, the Soviet and Russian military commander, General of the Army Makhmut Akhmetovich Gareev, which was erected next to the multidisciplinary lyceum 188, not far from General Makhmut Gareev Street in Kazan. The author was a member of the Union of Artists of Tatarstan Fanil Valiullin.

On August 28, at the site in front of the main building of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of Tatarstan Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov handed in the car keys and computer equipment to medical institutions of Tatarstan, namely 100 Sollers Atlant ambulances and 40 Lada Aura passenger cars.

On August 28, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov thanked the President of the OIC Youth Forum Taha Ayhan for joint work on the development of humanitarian partnership between Russia and the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. The Rais of the republic emphasized that with the support of the OIC Youth Forum, the Kazan Global Youth Summit is being held for the fourth time. This year more than 200 delegates from 43 countries of the world are taking part in it. Its geography has expanded significantly - countries of South America and Africa, as well as BRICS Plus states, have shown great interest.

On 28 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the State Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev took part in a plenary session of the National Assembly of the World Tatar Congress held with participation of about 1 thousand delegates from 68 regions of Russia and 27 foreign countries in the Tatar State Opera and Ballet Theatre in Kazan’

On 28 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremony of raising the first Navy flag on a patrol vessel and small-size missile ships built at Zelenodolsk Plant after Gorky held by videoconference with participation of the Chief Commander of the Russian Navy Aleksandr Moiseev.

On August 28, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Head of the Baikonur city administration Konstantin Busygin, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the Kazan Global Youth Summit, discussed the issues of cooperation at the interregional and inter-municipal level, including the study of the experience of Tatarstan in the youth policy.

On 27 August at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Mikhail Yurin discussed issues of the development of the industrial sector of the republic, state support measures of the branch and implementation of investments projects in Tatarstan. 

On 27 August at the World Tatar Congress Executive Committee building, before his meeting with delegates of the National Assembly of the World Tatar Congress, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov talked to former leaders of the World Tatar Congress Indus Tagirov and Rinat Zakirov and the WWII veteran Umid Gubayev who arrived from the Town of Armavir of Krasnodar region. Rustam Minnikhanov thanked them for their substantial contribution into the spiritual development of the Tatars and wished then good health and long years of life.
