Aleksey Pesoshin: The Russian National Guard Directorate for the Republic of Tatarstan is one of the best in the country

On 27 March, speaking at a ceremonial event dedicated to celebrations of the Day of Russian National Guard held at the Kazan City Hall with participation of the Chief of the Office of the Staff of the Rais of the republic Asgat Safarov, heads of law-enforcement bodies of the republic and veterans and employees of the territorial Directorate of the National Guard, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that  the Russian National Guard Directorate for the republic Republic of Tatarstan is traditionally acknowledged as one of the best in the country.

He emphasized that the service, which was established 10 years ago, has become and independent and important structure in the law-enforcement system, protection of rights and interests of citizens. The personnel of the Directorate are at the forefront of the fight against crime, terrorism and extremism, and monitor compliance with Russian legislation in arms circulation and perform tasks of protecting strategic facilities.

“In close interaction with other law enforcement services, the staff of Guards ensure law and order during large events hosted by the republic such as the XVI BRICS Summit, the first international Games of the Future, the International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum“, the BRICS Sports Games and others,” the head of the regional Government said.

Aleksey Pesoshin noted that the National Guard personnel of the republic are performing their assigned tasks with dignity during the Special Military Operation and stated that the republic attaches great attention to creating comfortable work environment for the Guard units.

In conclusion he said: “I thank the personnel of the Russian National Guard Directorate for Tatarstan for their conscientious work, courage, loyalty to their oath, military traditions, and their contribution to ensuring law and order and national security. I am sure that following the achievements of respected veterans, they will continue to build on traditions and improve their professional skills.”

The Head of the Russian National Guard Directorate for Tatarstan Lieutenant-General of the Police Rustem Gumerov said that due to the support of the Leadership of the republic the Directorate managed to implement large-scale projects for the construction and major renovation of office buildings, to update the fleet of vehicles and office equipment and to create modern conditions for service.

“The highest treasure of the Directorate is its people. Thanks to the dedication, professionalism, and team spirit of our team, we make a significant contribution to strengthening law and order in Tatarstan, which has been repeatedly highly praised by the leadership of the republic. In the face of severe trials, our employees and military personnel, especially the personnel of special task forces, have proven their dedication to duty. From the first days of the Special Military Operation, they have carried out their assigned tasks with honor and dignity, earning deep respect,” he emphasized.

In the end of the meeting a number of employees, officers and veterans of the Directorate were handed in state awards for their high professionalism and successful service.
