Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulates Farid Mukhametshin for having been elected the Chairman of the regional State Council

On 20 September the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated Farid Mukhametshin who by secret e-ballot was elected the Chairman of the regional State Council of the seventh convocation at its first meeting.

Speaking to Farid Mukhametshin, Rustam Minnikhanov said: “I am sure that due to your experience and professionalism and well-deserved authority the deputies’ corps of the republic will continue efficient implementation of tasks the republic is facing today.”

He emphasized that the composition of the parliament has been renovated substantially having included active authoritative people and participants of the special military operation (SMO).

The Rais of the republic also stated that today the support of the SMO participants and their families must be given special attention from all levels of power. “Direct contact with people, work with their complaints and solution of burning issues are necessary in your work,” he said and wished all members of the Council success in their work for the good of the republic and its residents.
