On October 24, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a plenary session of the 16th BRICS Summit in the BRICS Plus/Outreach format, which brought together leaders from CIS countries, delegations for Asian, African, Middle Eastern and Latin American countries, as well as the executive heads of several international organizations.

On October 24, Chinese President Xi Jinping has completed his working visit to Tatarstan, where he took part in the events of the BRICS summit.

On October 24, on the sidelines of the BRICS summit, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting with the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow, at which he thanked the Turkmenistan President for the warm relations and traditions that Berdimuhamedow established, as well as for maintaining and expanding cooperation.

On October 24, welcoming the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, who arrived in Kazan by an invitation from Russian President Vladimir Putin to take part in the BRICS Outreach events, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov thanked him for his attention to Tatarstan.

Emomali Rahmon emphasized that the choice of Kazan as the venue for such a significant summit once again demonstrates its special status.

On October 24, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who arrived in Kazan to take part in the BRICS Summit events, was met by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at the Kazan International Airport.

On 23 October at their meeting on the sidelines of the BRICS Summit, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev discussed joint projects being implemented in Uzbekistan. 

On 23 October the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov as a member of a Russian delegation took part in a meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan organized on the sidelines of the second day of the BRICS Summit in Kazan.

On 23 October upon his arrival to the Kazan International Airport the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, who came to Tatarstan to take part in events of the BRICS Summit, was welcomed by the Rais (Head) of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov.  

The President Kyrgyzstan will attend events in the BRICS Plus format.

On 23 October the President of Kazakhstan Kassym Jomart-Tokayev arrived to Kazan to take part in events of the BRICS Summit.

By an invitation from Russian President Vladimir Putin, Kassym Jomart-Tokayev will take part sessions of the BRICS Plus format.

On 23 October upon his arrival to the Kazan International Airport the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow, who came to Tatarstan to take part in events of the BRICS Summit, was welcomed by the Rais (Head) of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov.
