Rustam Minnikhanov meets Turkish ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) Deputy Chair Nihat Zeybekci

On 24 April, at their in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnihanov and Turkish ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) Deputy Chair Nihat Zeybekci, who is also a member of the Strategic Vision Group “Russia-the Islamic World” and who came to Tatarstan on a working trip, discussed issues taking part in a meeting of the Group and in the International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum” to be held in May of the current year.

Speaking at the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov said he is sure that participation of Mister Nihat Zeybekci will give a substantial impetus to strengthening ties between Muslim people especially taking into consideration the substantial importance of Turkey in the Islamic world.

Tatarstan is interested in Turkish business to continue its projects in the republic and use it as a platform to enter Russian and Eurasian markets, he said.

In his turn Nihat Zeybekci said: “It is always a pleasure to come to Tatarstan. Thank you for an invitations and the feeling of friendship you always share. It is also my great pleasure to take part in launching our joint projects.”

Earlier the same day Nihat Zeybekc had meeting in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and the State Council of the republic.
