On 10 February the Deputy Head of the Russian Government Dmitriy Chernyshenko, who came on a working trip to Kazan, and the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center where they got acquainted with work of the Accreditation Center of the Games of the Future.

On 10 February the Deputy Head of the Russian Government Dmitriy Chernyshenko, who came on a working trip to Kazan, and the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, accompanied by regional Minister of Sports Vladimir Leonov and Russian Deputy Minister of Sports Azat Kadyrov, looked round the Kazan Academy of Tennis with the aim of giving assessment of the facility readiness for hosting competitions during the international multi-sports phygital “The Games of the Future”.

On 10 February the Deputy Head of the Russian Government Dmitriy Chernyshenko, who came on a working trip to Kazan, and the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremony of opening the Center for Human Capital Development established within the framework of the national project of “Tourism and Hospitality.

On February 10, the Deputy Head of the Russian Government Dmitriy Chernyshenko and the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Shamil Gafarov visited the Bashir Rameev IT park and assessed the readiness of the facility for the Games of the Future.

On February 10, speaking at a regional videoconference in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov instructed the heads of municipal regions and representatives of the regional activists to hold high-level events dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the withdrawal of a limited contingent of Soviet troops from the Republic of Afghanistan, which Russia will celebrate on February 15.

On February 10, speaking at the Government House of the republic at a regional video-conference held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin, Regional Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Marat Ayzatullin reported on the implementation of housing construction programmes and the provision of housing for certain categories of citizens.

On 9 February the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Russian Minister of Science and Education Valeriy Falkov took part in a ceremonial meeting in the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences dedicated to the Day of Russian Science.

Prior to the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov, Valeriy Falkov and other guests got acquainted with a number of scientific projects of the branches of the Academy, looked round an exposition dedicated to the Day of Russian Science and the Year of Scientific and Technological Development in Tatarstan.

On 9 February at their working meeting in the Government House of the republic the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Russian Minister of Science and Education Valeriy Falkov discussed issues of establishing a Center for Academic Science in the republic, further implementation of the High Oil School project in Almetyevsk and development of university education in Tatarstan in the whole.

On 9 February the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Science and Education Valeriy Falkov, who came to Kazan to take part in a ceremonial meeting dedicated to the Day of Russian Science, visited the Institute of History after Sh. Mardjani established in 1996, which is the leading research center for studies in history of Tatars and Tatarstan, Eurasia and Turkic-Tatar civilization.

On 8 February at their meeting in the Government House of the republic in Kazan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Chairman of the Board of the Discover Event Company Yunus Ete, who is also the President of Turkish Association of International Exhibitions Organizers, discussed cooperation in international exhibition business, including preparations to the International economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World:KazanForum” in Kazan.
