Rustam Minnikhanov and Marat Khusnullin has attended Sabantuy holiday in Chistopol municipality

On 11 June Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with honorary guests - Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin, the Governor of Bryank region Aleksandr Bogomaz and others attended Sabantuy holiday in Chistopol municipality, where they visited horse race and the exposition of the modern agricultural machinery.

Rustam Minnikhanov and Marat Khusnullin also visited Tatar, Russian, Chuvash and Kryashen(Orthodox Tatars) farmsteads and the Oriental Bazaar.

The guests also took part in traditional competitions such as breaking pots and the boxing machine.

During the festive meeting held on the Chistopol central stadium, the head of Chistopol region Dmitriy Ivanov told about results of the agribusiness of the region, reporting that the sowing was completed on time. Speaking at the meeting, Marat Khusnullin congratulated residents of the city with the holiday and expressed his gratitude to Tatarstan President for his systemic support of agriculture and annual continuous effort in this sphere.

After the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov handed in Tatarstan state awards.
