On June 10, on the eve of Russia Day, in the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov handed in state awards of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan and congratulated the gathered on the upcoming holiday.

“We are proud to live and work in a country with a thousand-year history and a rich cultural heritage. Due to the creative work of many generations, the support of the federal centre and personally Russian President Vladimir Putin, today our republic is an advanced, backbone region of the country,” Minnikhanov said.

He emphasized that Tatarstan consistently supports the policy of improving the lives of citizens, building a strong Russia.
