On October 19, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Russia Vladimir Putin delivered their welcoming speeches at a plenary meeting of the First Russia-Uzbekistan Forum of Interregional Cooperation that focused on agriculture as a priority area in the development of Russia-Uzbekistan relations.

On October 19, during the First Russia-Uzbekistan Forum of Interregional Cooperation, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a business breakfast “Unlock the potential” hosted by Russian Minister of Economic Development Maksim Oreshkin and Minister of Economy of Uzbekistan Botir Khodjaev and briefed about economic and investment opportunities of the region.

On October 18, on his arrival in Tashkent, in the Committee on Inter-Community Relations and Friendly Ties with Foreign Countries under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan with the participation of Hokim of the Tashkent region Gulomzhon Ibraghimov, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Tatar Diaspora of Uzbekistan.

On October 18, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a two-day working visit to Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, to take part in the First Russia-Uzbekistan Forum of Interregional Cooperation that will be chaired by the leaders of the two states Vladimir Putin and Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

On October 18, speaking at a solemn celebration in honour Dinamo-Kazan men’s team and Dinamo- Giproniiaviaprom women’s club – Russian field hockey champions, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that due to the victories of the teams, field hockey is gaining momentum to the development and more than 1,000 Tatarstan citizens are engaged in this kind of sport.

On October 18, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the 42nd meeting of the regional State Council of the fifth convocation held by Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin.  

On October 18, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting with a delegation of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam led by Chairman of the Kiên Giang provincial People's Committee Phạm Vũ Hồng.

On October 17, in Kazan, on the sidelines of the Finish Business in Kazan Forum, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met Ambassador of Finland to Russia Mikko Hautala, who led a Finish business delegation to Tatarstan.  

On October 17, at the Korston Entertainment Complex in Kazan, speaking at the opening of Finnish Business in Kazan Forum, the largest annual event of the Russian-Finnish business, with participation of Finnish Ambassador to the Russian Federation Mikko Hautala, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan is interested in attracting Finnish business and capital.

On October 17, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov sent a telegram of condolences to Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksenov over the tragic events at the Kerch Polytechnic College.
