Russian Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinksy arrives in Kazan

On February 1, Russian Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinksy, who arrived on a working visit in Tatarstan, was met by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin at the Kazan International Airport.

During his working visit, Medinsky will take part in a meeting of the Ministry of Culture of the republic, which will sum up the results of the Ministry’s work in 2018.

The Minister will attend a solemn event held at the Pyramida Entertainment Complex with participation of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and State Counsellor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev  dedicated to the results of the implementation of the integrated project “Cultural Heritage:  the island town of Sviyazhsk and the ancient city of Bolgar.
